Who are the NCMA Contemporaries?
The Contemporaries are a dynamic group of young professionals committed to promoting the arts and increasing Museum membership in the greater Triangle area. Through a broad range of special events and educational activities, the Contemporaries raise funds to be used primarily to support art acquisitions.
Contemporaries events include:
- Monthly Art on Tap mixers at Triangle-area bars and galleries
- Champagne and chocolate tasting event
- First Friday meet-ups
- Beer, barbecue, and a retro summer movie in the Museum Park
- Labor Day Weekend white party
- Art purchase parties
- Annual New Year’s Eve party
